Commitment to achieving net zero

Modu.Digital LTD is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
We recognise the importance of reducing our environmental impact and have begun
measuring, monitoring, and reducing our emissions accordingly.

Baseline emissions footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the
past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions.

Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be
measured.

Baseline year: 1st June 2024 - 31st May 2025.
Our emissions baseline is calculated based on remote working operations, employee
commuting, cloud services and IT procurement.

Current emissions reporting

Reporting Year: 1st June 2024 – 31st May 2025

As a new baseline was set this year, current and baseline emissions are identical.

Emissions reduction targets

We aim to achieve the following:

Maintain zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions through our renewable energy,
remote working and cloud-based operations.
Reduce Scope 3 commuting emissions by 50% by 2028 through using carpooling
where appropriate and promoting train use.
Offset all residual emissions annually from 2025 onwards.

Carbon reduction projects:

Completed / Ongoing:

Shared office which uses 100% renewable energy.
Use of Microsoft Azure cloud services, which are increasingly powered by renewable
energy.
Minimal business travel and reliance on virtual meetings (e.g., MS Teams and Google Meet).

Planned:

Introduce sustainable commuting policy encouraging carpooling and train travel.
Offset emissions via certified carbon offset schemes.
Recycle or responsibly dispose of IT hardware.

Declaration and sign off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 and
associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting
standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard
and uses the appropriate government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas
company reporting.

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements (where required), and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors.
