Odycy Health was founded to give everyone the ability to directly access the care they need without waiting weeks for a GP appointment or being bounced around the healthcare system.

Odycy came to Modu, having proven product-market fit, with a low-code prototype that required re-engineering into a production-ready platform that included the full suite of systemic requirements, such as scalability, security, as well as automated test coverage and a continuous integration pipeline.

A small Modu team set to work with the aim of delivering a production platform in 60 working days. A tough challenge, given the prototype represented years of feature development, including advanced search capabilities for treatments and provider discovery, referrals, appointment booking and payment management.

The team delivered in short cycles to validate assumptions along the way and continuously recalibrate sequencing and priorities.

As the platform emerged, the team strengthened its foundations and engineering discipline to speed up the latter half of delivery.

Odycy went live in March 2026 and is now a major player in the UK healthcare market.
